I am an experienced toastmaster and have officiated at many different types of functions both large and intermit including, Weddings, Civil registrations, Masonic Festivals, Regimental dinners, Civic functions, Charity events, Mess dinners, Corporate hospitality and Gala banquets.
My personal view of my role as toastmaster is to advise and assist where required and liaise with the event organisers to ensure the smooth running of their function. Their wishes at all time being paramount.
I will liaise between organiser, caterers, entertainers and the venue and work discreetly in the background to ensure the smooth and enjoyable running of the event for all and deal with any unexpected problem which may arise.
